It’s just a couple of days after the New Year. Let’s take a moment to stop, focus, and reflect on the victories and challenges that occurred along the way. The past year was quite fascinating for Kilo Health, and today we wanted to share with you a glimpse of what it feels like to work with us. How did the 2021 wrapped for us?
According to Deloitte, Kilo Health ranks as the second fastest-growing technology company in the region. We placed second in the Deloitte “Technology Fast 50 of Growing Companies in Central Europe” ranking with 17,710% growth.
In less than 3 years, we have scaled our product portfolio to 15+ products and more than 4 million clients.
But none of that would have happened without our people. Over the past year, 445 new people of 13+ different nationalities joined our teams. In total, Kilo Health right now has more than 500 teammates.
To greet all of them properly, we opened 3 new offices: our new headquarters in Vilnius, and places in Berlin and Kyiv.
In the spirit of building up the startup ecosystem and supporting new entrepreneurial talents, this year we have launched the second round of our startup accelerator and incubator “Co-found with Kilo Health.”
In one month, we received more than one thousand applications from all over the world. Currently we are selecting finalists from Berlin, Stockholm, Amsterdam, and Vilnius.
We also invested 2 million euros in health tech startups.
Our team continues helping new talent grow in our Kilo Academy. Here, people who want to learn coding, marketing, and conversion optimization (CRO) can gain experience and insights. 300 people applied for the program this year, 50 of them completed the course, and 12 are already working with us.
Our product portfolio was expanding as well. Right now, we have 15+ digital health products, with 2 newcomers officially joining the ranks this year.
Cardi Health is a cardiovascular health app that helps to fight hypertension and cholesterol easier. Currently, the solution offers a mobile app, with a smart pill bottle and a blood pressure monitor on their way. We believe that Cardi Health could be the solution that will help millions to manage the condition and keep their hearts healthy.
Sensa is a mental health assistant that uses cognitive behavior therapy to help people reduce stress, manage anxiety, and improve their overall mood. Our survey of over 6,000 people shows that almost 92% report feeling more stress after the pandemic.
We hope that this solution will help people in need access affordable and effective care faster.
Not only do we want to share our data-powered insights but also learn from the industry superstars. That’s why in 2021, we joined digital health associations Digital Therapeutics Alliance and Matter community.
The digital health industry needs more collaboration between different stakeholders, and we simply can’t wait to work together and create even better solutions for people that need help managing health.
Our diabetes management assistant Klinio is among the finalists of the Cigna Innovation Challenge. The challenge seeks to identify industry leaders that transform diabetes treatment.
Other finalists include startups that also fight different aspects of diabetes, such as GlucosePATH, Neap, Pack Health, SNAQ, and Viora Health.
The Validation Institute, an independent institution, has also confirmed that patients with type-2 diabetes who used Klinio for a minimum of 19 days over 2.5 months were twice as likely to reduce their absolute HbA1c levels by 0.59%.
Health Tech Forward conference brings together the world’s top digital health investors, entrepreneurs, and government officials for exclusive seminars and thought-provoking debates about the future of the industry.
This year, Kilo Health has hosted it and invited 100+ speakers to share their vision about the future of health.
What’s next for Kilo Health? In 2022, we plan to focus on products that help to manage and prevent chronic diseases, improve mental health, and grow our teams even further.
