We are looking

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Engineer to join our Core Services team of 6 and contribute to the development and maintenance of our robust and scalable payment processing system. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and optimizing the core payment infrastructure that powers transactions for a diverse range of merchants across various industries.

  • Play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our payment systems that handle million daily events. Work with cutting-edge technologies like PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Amazon to deliver seamless payment experiences
  • Dedicate your time to building new solutions and exploring creative ways to optimize payment services
  • Partner with product teams to maintain site reliability, streamline integrations, and provide critical database support for payment and data services
  • Work autonomously with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs
  • Share your knowledge with other engineers and be part of our community
  • Write clean code that serves as an example to others

We expect you to

  • Have at least 3 years of experience working with PHP and Laravel
  • Have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Have experience writing unit and integration tests (TDD experience would be a bonus)
  • Have a solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns
  • Be a good communicator that loves sharing your experience with others

Salary

Gross salary range is 3015-4950 EUR/month.

Location

We have plenty of amazing workspaces you can choose from: our awesome headquarters in Vilnius, and super cool hubs in Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Riga!

For Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
