We’re looking for a passionate DevOps Engineer to join our tight-knit platform team of five. In this role, you’ll be the backbone of our infrastructure, supporting over 100 developers and ensuring our high-traffic health and wellness applications are reliable for millions of users worldwide. Our platform consists of these core components:
- DataDog – for in depth application and infrastructure logging/monitoring, alerting and incident response
- GitLab – Self-managed instance, uniform CI/CD pipelines for all repositories, common/shared containers for CI, cloudnative buildpacks (pack cli) for our application builds, templates and sample configurations for different type of applications
- AWS – Multi-account and multi-org infrastructure; EKS for containerized workloads; other services we use: RDS, Elasticache, SQS, S3, OpenSearch
Get ready to
- Design, build, and maintain our core infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance for applications serving millions of users
- Enhance and manage our self-hosted GitLab CI/CD platform, creating templates and shared containers to empower over 100 developers
- Champion observability by leveraging DataDog for in-depth monitoring, logging, and incident response
- Automate everything using Infrastructure as Code principles with OpenTofu (Terraform)
- Collaborate and troubleshoot with development teams to resolve complex issues across the entire software development lifecycle
We expect you to
- Solid experience working in a Linux environment
- Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, SQS)
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, containerd)
- A strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like GitLab CI
- A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform or OpenTofu (nice to have)
- Production experience managing Kubernetes workloads (nice to have)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like DataDog (nice to have)
Salary
Gross salary range is 5000 – 5900 EUR/month.
Location
Vilnius, Lithuania: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
