Hello, my name is Tadas Makčinskas, and I am the Head of Architecture at Kilo Health. I am excited about the ongoing journey of change, and as we continue evolving our data landscape at Kilo Health, we are looking for an experienced Data Solutions Architect. As a Data Architect in my architecture team, your main objective is to design and implement a scalable, cost-efficient data architecture, supporting data science, analytics, and AI-driven operations. You will work across multiple functional areas, collaborating with stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to ensure that data is accessible, reliable, and well-structured for business insight teams and AI models.
Get ready to
- Design and maintain efficient data storage systems such as data warehouses and data lakes.
- Develop data integration and ETLs for seamless data ingestion, transformation, and movement.
- Maintain and evolve Kilo Health’s data products to provide a unified business data layer.
- Establish a data catalog and lineage tracking to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality, security, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
- Align data architecture with business strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across products, marketing, finance, and operations.
- Ensure high-performance, scalable data processing to meet growing business demands.
- Support the full AI/ML data lifecycle, including feature engineering, data versioning, and MLOps.
- Partner with data engineers to optimize pipeline design while maintaining clear architectural ownership.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to turn data into actionable insights.
We expect you to
- Have proven expertise in data architecture, engineering, or related fields.
- Have strong experience with Google cloud-based data technologies such as GCP, BigQuery, dbt or similar.
- Have knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, and scalable storage solutions.
- Have experience with data integration frameworks and processing large-scale data.
- Have strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Have ability to design and optimize AI/ML data pipelines and support feature engineering.
- Have ability to manage complex environments and proactively respond to challenges.
Salary
Gross salary range is 5200 – 7800 EUR/month.
Location
This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania.
For Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote.
