Back-End Engineer @Digital Health

We are looking

For a skilled Backend Engineer to join our growing team and help drive innovation in the digital health space. In this role, you’ll develop robust backend systems that power our health solutions and work alongside a dynamic team to create impactful, user-centric products. 

Get ready to

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs to support our digital health products
  • Partner with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless and effective solutions that align with our business goals
  • Enhance application performance and scalability by identifying and addressing bottlenecks and implementing efficient solutions
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Address and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure a smooth user experience and system reliability
  • Innovate and Improve: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our backend infrastructure
  • Participate in Code Reviews: Engage in code reviews to ensure code quality, share insights, and foster a collaborative development environment

We expect you to

  • Have at least 2 years of experience working with PHP and Laravel (Symfony works too)
  • Have experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Have experience writing unit and integration tests (TDD experience would be a bonus)
  • Have a solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns

Salary

Gross salary range is 3000-4500 EUR/month.

Location

We have plenty of amazing workspaces you can choose from: our awesome headquarters in Vilnius, and super cool hubs in Kaunas, Klaipėda, and Riga!

For Vilnius: 4 days onsite, 1 flexible day remote. Meanwhile, in Kaunas: onsite, hybrid, or remote options are available depending on the role.
